UPDATE (August 28, 10:45 a.m.):

It appears that some resellers have, in fact, gotten their pairs from Foot Locker.

See original story from August 27, 2015, below.

Although a quick scan through eBay shows that plenty of resellers are eating good off of the "Black" adidas Yeezy Boost 350s, one sneaker chain is doing its part to crack down on buyers looking for a quick profit.

In response to impatient customers demanding order updates, Foot Locker Europe made an interesting statement on Twitter. Apparently, the reason for delayed shipping is because Foot Locker isn't sending orders to resellers.

It's not made clear how they're determining which orders will get the ax, but it's reassuring to know that something's being done to ensure the sneakers end up with people who actually want to wear them. We'll let you know as soon as we hear an update on this one.

@AshleyPsnl <4/4> we are not sending orders to resellers which is causing the delay. Thanks.

@AshleyPsnl Hi Ashley. Orders for the Yeezy Boost are slightly delayed due to very high volumes. However - orders are being processed <1/4>
