As more speculation surrounds the Nike Kobe X, we're beginning to think that Kobe's ninth signature sneaker might be coming to a close soon. But before we even transition into a new silhouette, could the Kobe 9 be given "What the" treatment as a way to go out with a bang?
LeBron and KD's previous sneakers already received wild mashups earlier this year, so it's only fitting for Kobe's line to receive that honor.
Adding to the possibility of a Kobe 9 "What the" are leaked images of never-before-seen Elites in its super high-top form. The sneaker sports a predominantly white knitted base with multicolor yarn on the medial, lateral, toe, and sockliner. No official word just yet, but let's cross our fingers because more multicolor Flyknits are always a good thing.
