When Kanye West ended his relationship with Nike and inked a deal with adidas, many thought the chapter between Yeezus and the Swoosh was closed forever. And with Kanye's adidas collaboration dropping in November, it would definitely seem that way, wouldn't it?
Well, apparently, not quite.
Kanye West was recently spotted, new haircut and all, wearing his infamous "Red October" Nike Air Yeezy IIs in Los Angeles.
While seeing 'Ye in non-adidas sneakers since he signed his Three Stripes deal isn't exactly anything new—he's worn a lot of Margiela and Visvim, as of late—it's a completely different vibe when it comes to Nike, considering the history. Earlier in the month, Kanye was even spotted wearing Nike socks and shorts with adidas Pure Boosts and it caused an uproar in the sneaker community.
