Fresh off the success of its "Aces" Grid 9000 and "Space Snack" Shadow Master, the Extra Butter team sets forth to go where few sneakers have gone before—the Moon. As a tribute to the first astronauts and to Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin's Moon landing, EB has executed a Shadow Master 6000 that pays homage to Saucony releases of the same time period with a micro mesh base. The story continues with the use of a 210 Denier nylon, which is representative of the astronauts silver space suits, a topographic image of the lunar landscape along the mudguard and heel wrap, and a speckled midsole which mimics a starry night.

And there's even more to the shoe. Head on over the the Extra Butter blog to read up on the rest of the details and make sure to circle May 31 on your calendars as the "Moon Walkers" are set to drop at both EB locations. Unlike the other sneakers in the "Space Race" pack, these will be exclusive to Extra Butter stores only, making it the rarest of the three sneakers.

Those that don't live in the NYC area need not panic though, as 'heads will have the chance to cop on EB's webshop on Monday, June 2. Until then, peep the images of what's sure to be another stellar release.
