It looks like the forthcoming Kanye West x adidas (which is reported to be due in September 2014) collection will definitely include more than just a handful of sneakers. During a radio interview with Chicago's Morning Riot, Kanye talked about his recent trip to Herzogenaurach, Germany to meet with the sports brand, where he worked with the adidas team to design 20 shoe styles.

"We designed the entire women's collection. We designed the entire men's collection. And we designed 20 shoes. We coming in September and it’s about to be a paradigm shift," He said on the radio.

Whether all 20 styles will make it to market remains to be seen, but Kanye sounded really adamant about making adidas an even bigger powerhouse in sportswear. It currently stands as the second largest athletic company behind Nike.

"You need to hear this in Portland. Listen at the Nike Campus, that methodology, that’s not going to work. All of this leveraging and extortion is not going to work now because I’m at adidas. The game is flipped now. There’s nobody you can run to and nowhere you can hide right now," Kanye said.
