Every shoe can run backwards, right? Right.
adidas agrees with an instructional Vine yesterday, demonstrating how the SpringBlade can indeed run in reverse as well as the traditional forward-facing position. So all of your super worried runners out there concerned that you won't be able to mix up your run can calm down (though you may not want to make lateral moves in this shoe).
For those who might not know, the adidas Springblade is designed especially to give runners explosive energy due to its adidas Energy Blade technology. Which may have been why runners were concerned the forward propelling motion would not work in reverse. But really, what would you think would happen? The blades would bend the opposite way? Snap off? Melt as a result of your lightning speed?
