No matter how you twist or pull them, sometimes the tongues on running shoes just can’t seem to stay straight. While this is a fairly common performance shoe struggle, there’s actually a simple solution to the tongue-sideways problem. It’s conveniently called Tongue Traps.

Basically just a rubber band for your sneaker, the one-size-fits-all elastic band fits around the shoe to lock the tongue in place. We haven’t tested the Tongue Traps yet, so the jury’s still out on whether it actually works or not. But the video above sure is convincing—apparently they work for more than just running shoes. Chuck Taylors aside, we're convinced. Take a look.
