We'd be willing to bet that ever since the age of about three and a half, when Kevin Durant was netting treys on his Fisher-Price basketball goal, that the kid knew he was going to make it into the League one day. But if by some strange set of occurrences, the two-time NBA scoring champion didn't have a career in basketball, he wanted to become a weatherman (no, really). So in somewhat fulfilling Durantula's regular-guy fantasy, Nike has laced KD with an appropriated pair of kicks, thus the Zoom KD IV "Weatherman." We first got a glance at the can't-miss makeup this past weekend, but now are awarded with a detailed look. The colorful sneaks are highlighted by a temperature map throughout the upper as well as an intricately detailed translucent outsole underneath, which showcases red hot zones from the pressure points of Durants' feet. The undeniably crafty hoops go is set to drop in limited quantities on December 10, through select Nike Basketball accounts. [via Sneaker News]
