Year (of Sneaker): 1997
For Jerry's reunion with Izzy Mandelbaum he wears the Total Max Uptempo—one of the best sneakers of the late 1990s. Jerry rocks it in his preferred color palette of white and navy, but it still feels a world apart from some of Jerry's other picks from previous seasons. This represents the sitcom Jerry Seinfeld's final significant sneaker moment and it's a good one. But it's still odd to see a Knicks fan rocking a model so synonymous with a Newman-scale archenemy like Reggie Miller.

I did a first 100 episodes SEINFELD shoe post over on niketalk back in June of 2010. Gary, did you compare any of those screencaps with what you had? I might take it upon myself to see if you missed an notables from there. But so far, so good. Google search" niketalk fans of seinfeld enter". You went above and beyond with the episode name and the actual shoe name. I just posted 240 screencaps.

@WallyHop You were the OG of this! In fact NikeTalk's been holding it down with Seinfeld and sneakers since day one. Saw your post just before Christmas and was blown away - then I thought that I'd look like a biter if I went through with what I'd discussed with Joe & Bradley @ Complex, but thought it would be fun to see how many I could ID. Made a conscious decision not to step on your hard work and only ID from what I'd screengrabbed, but I have a few I struggled with that I chucked on my blog.

Dope article. I watched this show so many times and never noticed Jerry's shoe game. However, I was probably to busy crackin' up. Good stuff.
