Ever since Vans killed the low-top summer shoe game with the Era's and the Authentic's skate brands have been trying to play catch up with styles of their own. We think Lakai may have caught one with its Belmont sneaker, a low profile sneaker that's hooked up with a suede upper and vulcanized sole. Lakai also points out that the sneaker features a full-length shock absorbing insole, just in case you want to go nuts and try to skate in them. We'll just use them for walking. Check for them in Lakai retailers around the country in the next few weeks.
