According to Road and Track, the driver of this Honda Insight is Brian Gillespie and he was competing in a speed competition at a dry lake bed when things took a turn. Gillespie drifted in the sand and flipped...a lot. He was going over 190mph at the time and as you can see, it did a number on his Insight. Gillespie miraculously only suffered a collapsed lung and heavy bruising and was discharged from the hospital less than a week later.
