Those who know Brabus, know the tuning house has a penchant for building balls-to-the wall Benzes. The brand's latest creation, dubbed "iBusiness 2.0", is no exception, though the real focus here isn't under the hood, but in the back seats.
Inside this relatively tame looking Mercedes-Benz S-Class sits a wireless Apple-based office that could even make blue-collar types geek out. At the core of the mobile command center sits a Mac mini, that slides out of a tray in the S-Class' trunk. The computer is connected to a retractable 15.2" TFT which drops from the car's Alcantara headliner, and also acts as an auxiliary display for the two seat-mounted iPads complete with Bluetooth keyboards.
Of course, you could have 50 iPads in the thing, but it's no good without connectivity, right? Brabus has that covered too. iBusiness 2.0 comes outfitted with a wi-fi network built off UMTS and HDSPA components which also allow all systems to wirelessly speak to each other. The system's developers even took things above and beyond, writing an iPad app that allows backseat passengers to take control of the car's COMAND infotainment system.
Of course there are iPods, speakers, and all that jazz, but staying true to its roots, Brabus didn't skimp under the hood. Tuned and tweaked, the twin-turbo V12 pumps out an incredible 800hp with 1,047 lb.-ft. of torque. With a 0-60 of 3.9 seconds and a (electronically limited) top speed of 219mph, chances are you won't be out of the office for too long, but it's good to know you'll never be off the grid—assuming you don't want to be.
