Jersey Shorestar Jenni “JWoww” Farley filed a restraining order against her husband Roger Mathew following an argument on Thursday night, People reports.

Mathews also shared the news via Instagram, posting several videos of himself in the back of a police car. In the two videos, he claims they fought over the reality star going back to work. He says he called the police himself earlier in the night, then later left to record a podcast. He returned, and at around 2 a.m. Farley called the police again.

Mathews later posted nine more videos breaking down the situation, and alleged that JWoww is using their children as “pawns.”

“She’s made my children pawns in this — literally made them pawns, something I would never do to her, ever,” he said. “I have no choice but to just be honest and open. I got nothing to lose, I got nothing to hide. You’re gonna see about our divorce on Jersey Shore, you know why? Because my wife told me — my ex-wife told me — when we were in counseling that she’s negotiating a side-deal. I think she said she wanted $70,000 … to talk about our divorce on the upcoming season. Everything is about money with her. All I want is time with my children, that’s all I want.”

JWoww filed for divorce back in September.

“My ex cannot control her emotions in front of our children and literally turns my child against me,” he continued. “My daughter, the look in her eyes. … Because her mother can’t wait until they go to sleep to have a disagreement. She has to do it in front of them … the misunderstanding she had towards her dad, and hitting me in the butt because I upset her mother, because her mother can’t control her emotions.”

On Friday morning, Farley responded to Mathews’ claims with a statement on Instagram.

“While Jenni has refrained from making any public statements relating to her impending divorce, in light of recent events we have decided to make an official statement,” her representative wrote. “Certain events transpired last night which lead [sic] Jenni to involve the authorities, as she felt it was in her best interests, and the best interests of her children to do so. Any statements and social media posts depicting anything to the contrary are entirely false, misleading and intentionally designed to cast Jenni in a negative light.”

The Toms River Police Department confirmed with People that Mathews was “served with a Temporary Restraining Order and provided transportation to another location.”

On Friday morning, Snooki posted surveillance footage from Thursday on IG in defense of her friend. In the video officers explain to JWoww how to file for a restraining order and get sole custody. Farley can be heard explaining that she doesn’t want to take her kids away from Mathews because he’s “not a bad dad.”

“She has tried everything in her power to keep things civil FOR THE KIDS and she’s a damn good mother,” Snooki wrote. “She doesn’t leave her kids for months at a time for work.”

JWoow's show, Jersey Shore Family Vacation, was recently renewed for a third season.
