In a move that makes sense to pretty much no one but those responsible, TV Line reports that Netflix has renewed Fuller House for a fourth season. With the second half of the show's third season having just arrived last month, the Full House sequel series is on its way to running longer than the original series. The original Full House ran for eight seasons. The revival seems to be popular enough to warrant another round. The full cast is expected to return.

At the end of 2017, Netflix released a number of lists that detailed the shows users binged the most during the year, and Fuller House made the curiously titled "The Shows That Brought Us Together in 2017" list. It's not 100% obvious what that list really entailed or meant, but it does apparently mean good things for the streaming giant, who seem intent on keeping the sitcom dream alive.

Netflix has had a number of big wins recently, gearing themselves up to have a massive 2018 with their biggest slate of original content yet. In February alone they're debuting their sci-fi murder mystery Altered Carbon, anthology series Seven Seconds, and a revival of Queer Eye. At least thirty Netflix originals are expected to release in the coming month, and they've got a lot more planned for the rest of the year, too. It's still not entirely clear why Fuller House exists, though.
