Here's the Official Premiere Date for 'Atlanta' Season 2

Donald Glover's critically-acclaimed series 'Atlanta' returns sooner than you might realize.

After LaKeith Stanfield spent one Sunday in December teasing the fuck out of the Atlanta-loving community with premiere dates for the long-awaited second season, FX has officially announced that we'll be getting the return of Donald Glover's acclaimed show on March 1 at 10 p.m.

One thing that Stanfield said was true is that this second season of Atlanta is being called "Atlanta Robbin' Season." There isn't much in the way of new information regarding the season, aside from Variety reporting that it will be focused on the two cousins (Glover's Earn and Brian Tyree Henry's Paper Boi) working "through the Atlanta music scene in order to better their lives and the lives of their families." Judging by the quirky "Twin Peaks with rappers" vibe that Glover achieved with the first season, we know that this show is much more than that plotline.

FX also announced that the final season of The Americans premieres on March 28, while Trust kicks off on March 25. FX revealed that the next chapter in the Sons of Anarchy saga, Mayans MC, would be premiering some time in 2018. Couple that with new seasons of Legion, the upcoming Assassination of Gianni Versace, and FX's other exceptional shows, 2018 is looking VERY bright for the network.
