There are so many unanswered questions in the universe such as; 'What is the meaning of life?' and 'Are we alone in the universe?'. Well, we can rest easy knowing that one of life's most important questions have been answered: 'What is a Pikachu’s favourite food?'.
Turn out it’s ketchup.
His love for the table condiment actually goes all the way back to season one of the Pokémon anime.
However the Pokemon mascot took his appreciation of ketchup to a new level recently. In a special end credit animation for the new Pokemon XY & Z anime, him and his fellow Pikachu brethren sang a catchy little tune (in Japanese) whilst frolicking around and dancing in a field littered with the popular condiment. To be perfectly honest it’s freaking adorable, just check out the clip below.

According to Geek.com who translated the lyrics they’re not even singing about ketchup, which makes this video even crazier. Apparently the lyrics translates to:
