Nobody likes spoilers for epic TV shows, but nobody likes a cheating ex, either. In a move that would make George R.R. Martin proud for its expert cruelty, one woman has taken revenge on her ex, who cheated on her, by spoiling every single new episode of Game of Thrones

The cheater and spoiler-recipient went on Reddit to plead for assistance, revealing the full genius of his ex's plan to make sure he never gets to enjoy another episode of the HBO drama. Here's the TL;DR version, per a screen grab of the original thread: "I cheated on my ex during our relationship and she found out shortly after we broke up. She's blocked me on everything, but briefly unblocks me every Monday to send me Game of Thrones spoilers before I can watch it. How can I get her to stop?"

The long-read version of this story is available below.

guy cheats on ex. Ex blocks on all platforms. Unblocks just to send GoT spoilers every week https://t.co/Z8rU2Gzi2s pic.twitter.com/qTLIWoYObx

Evidently, the ex-girlfriend in question added her ex, who posted his plight on Reddit using the handle Khaleesiscorned, using a fake Facebook account. Then she sends him spoilers every Sunday evening before he has a chance to catch Game of Thrones. After that, she blocks him (preventing him from blocking her, and ceasing the cycle of spoilers), only to un-block him again the following Sunday so she can send another message. It's serious.

The original post on Reddit has since been taken down, but the original poster's despair is evident from his description of the situation and plea for advice. The post's removal could have something to do with the fact that other Reddit users who hopped on the thread only sent more spoilers to Khaleesiscorned, and told him what a jackass he was for cheating.

It seems like he's fresh out of luck, and unless he's got a time machine, the guy may be stuck having Game of Thrones plot points forever revealed before he can watch them himself.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
