Stacey Dash Wants to Get Rid of Black History Month, BET, and the NAACP Image Awards

Dash was recently suspended from the network after a profane Obama remark.

Stacey Dash, presumably the only person to ever go from Clueless to Fox News, recently returned to the purported offerer of news to address the ongoing #OscarsSoWhite controversy with some decidedly drastic commentary. "I think it's ludicrous," Dash said, referencing recent remarks from Jada Pinkett Smith and Spike Lee. "We have to make up our minds. Either we want to have segregation or integration. If we don’t want segregation, then we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the [NAACP] Image Awards, where you're only awarded if you're black."

BET, thankfully, wasted little time delivering their response to Stacey "Troll" Dash via Twitter:

Dash also took aim at President Barack Obama and the so-called "liberal elite," whatever that means, by questioning the timing of the controversy in relation to campaign donations. "We’ve had a president who is black in office for the past eight years," Dash said. "[He] gets most of his funding from the liberal elite in Hollywood, yet there are not very many roles for people of color. How can that be and why is it just now being addressed?" Dash, of course, was previously suspended from her Fox News duties after saying Obama "didn't give a shit" about terrorism.

If you're thinking that Dash's words, which also included the suggestion that Black History Month should be eradicated, sound a bit like something a particularly dangerous Republican presidential candidate would say, then you're (sadly) spot-on. "I saw somebody on your show today say 'What do we do with BET, Black Entertainment, right?'" Trump told Fox News just hours after Dash's appearance, Business Insider reports. "The whites don't get any nominations. I thought it was an amazing interview, actually. I've never even thought of it from that standpoint."

When Donald Trump enthusiastically offers his cosign to someone's controversial remarks, it is most likely time for that person to reevaluate everything he or she has ever said.
