This is the story of two men from different backgrounds who come together and sparks fly. Wait, no. Actually, Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Jefferson Jackson (Franz Drameh) are a pair of meta humans—thanks to the particle accelerator explosion—who converge and become a superhero named Firestorm. Previously introduced on The Flash, this unlikely duo is teaming up with other ragtag heroes and villains who must travel through time to stop the end of the world.
In a new trailer that dropped on Friday, it looks like the pair is off to a rocky start. These polar opposites will have to settle their differences if they’re ever going to make this work. They do share a superhero body, after all.
Legends of Tomorrow premieres Jan. 21 on the CW Network.
