After being charged with three counts of sexual assault last week, things don't seem to be getting any better for Bill Cosby. The comedian, who has now had over 50 women come out and speak against him, is also apparently blind.

Cosby's lawyer Monica Pressley went on CBS's This Morning and revealed that her client suffers from a degenerative eye condition called Keratoconus, which is a thinning condition of the cornea that causes eyes to budge. It's probably why his right eye looks so strange in his mugshot.

"He's a 78-year-old blind man who they've chosen to charge, that's not a defense to a charge, that's just a fact," Pressley said last week.

In December Cosby filed a defamation suit against Beverly Johnson. The court documents for the case also shed light on his condition. According to the Daily Mail, the documents say, "Mr. Cosby has suffered from a degenerative eye condition for years which has steadily worsened recently to the point that he is for over a year has been legally and functionally blind."

While it's unclear when Cosby was diagnosed with Keratoconus, symptoms of the disease include blurring and ghosting. Apparently if it gets bad enough, people suffering from Keratoconus could need cornea transplants.
