Steven Spielberg, Hollywood legend who gets thanked in more Oscar speeches than God, has a new partnership with Universal, the studio behind Spielberg's most famous films: Jaws, Jurassic Park, E.T., and Schindler's List. The partnership comes after Universal's best year to date breaking box office records by August making $5.53 billion on the backs of films like Jurassic World and Furious 7. Spielberg's going to be raking in the cash alright.

Spielberg's DreamWorks Studios in collaboration with Participant Media, Reliance Entertainment, and Entertainment One, announced new company Amblin Partners. Films will reportedly still be released under the DreamWorks name, despite the new company, but Universal and Focus Features will distribute and market anywhere from four to seven Amblin Partners films a year.

Spielberg released a statement about the deal saying, "The same magnet that pulled me to Universal when I first wanted to make movies is bringing me home again to this new exciting relationship. It is my hope that we can make some more beautiful music together."

The first film in this partnership will be The Girl on the Train set for an Oct. 7, 2016 release with a cast including Emily Blunt and Justin Theroux who you already know won 2015.

Up next for Spielberg is the release of The BFG and a Jurassic World sequel.
