Owen Hook built his young son a kitchen playset out of an old entertainment center and gave it to the boy for his second birthday. Then he made the mistake of posting some photos on Reddit, aka the Internet's butthole.
Trolls started in on those photos, calling Hook's little boy a "faggot." They also said Hook was going to somehow "turn him gay" by allowing the boy to pretend to be a little chef.
Hook, beautifully, did not give one shit. His response to the hate was perfect (via Huffington Post):
Well, going off of comments I have received both online, and in person regarding my wife and I's decision to make our SON a kitchen playset and several "daughter" comments and "but he is a boy", let me be perfectly blunt. Fuck you. Any time we go to our local science center, or to the children's museum, he always wants to play in the kitchen playset area. He always wants to watch us cook and likes being involved, so we thought this would be a good idea. Furthermore, if my kid wanted a barbie doll i would get it for him. If that is what he wants, then that is what he wants. Its his decision what he wants to play with. Not mine.

And just for the hell of it, while were on the subject of stereotypes, let's take a moment to remember that scientific research shows women are more aroused by watching a guy bake a cake than by watching him use a power saw.
