Finally — someone is standing up to sadistic pranksters hiding behind the ill-fitting guise of (severely misguided) comedy. As previously reported, Paris Hilton was recently the victim of a particularly brutal prank involving a staged plane crash. Orchestrated by Egyptian star Ramez Galal for his show Ramez In Control, the prank inspired a predictably emotional reaction from Hilton rendering the clip downright unsettling to watch.

Hilton is now tossing lawyers at the situation with absolutely justified claims of "emotional distress," according toTMZ. Hilton has reportedly developed a fear of flying since the so-called prank, revealing that the plane "almost hit the water" during the faux dive. The lawyers involved with Hilton's case are confident that the "emotional distress" accusations will stand.

Hopefully, this will serve as some sort of warning sign for Ashton Kutcher and company to abandon any hopes of another Punk'd reboot.

More to come.
