Barack Obama's half-brother, Malik Abongo "Roy" Obama, sold a letter that the President wrote to him twenty years ago to a collector, according to Page Six. In the handwritten note, Obama details the beginnings of his political career to his brother, and reveals how he felt about getting into politics.

Obama also talks candidly (or at least, as candidly as you can be in a letter to a family member) about how he feels about meetings and humdrum of a career in politics: "Of course, it involves a lot of campaigning, going ot meetings and so on, which I don't find so attractive."

The future leader of the free world also adds, "Anyway, if I win it will only be a part-time post, and I will continue my work as a lawyer."

This isn't the first time that Malik has sold some of Obama's old correspondence. In 2013, he sold two letters from his brother for nearly $30,000. It's unclear why Malik has been selling off letters from their past, or if it has anything to do with tensions in their relationship. Just a few months ago, Malik called Obama a "schemer" in an interview. "He's not been an honest man ... in who he is and what he says and how he treats people," he said.

The letter was sold for an undisclosed amount. In it, Obama signs off, "Much love—Barack." Read
