Superhero fans not interested in football might've chosen movie franchise sides based on Chris Pratt and Chris Evans' Super Bowl bet. Pratt a.k.a. Star-Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy and Evans a.k.a Captain America talked some trash about their respective hometown football squads, the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots (Pratt hails from Lake Stevens, Washington; Evans from Boston). They wagered in-costume visits to each city's respective children's hospitals.
Because the game was so even (for those in a hole, the outcome came down to the last yard of the football field with a New England interception at the goal line with 20-seconds left) it's fitting that both will fulfill their superhero bets. Our cynical side thinks they both would've visited both hospitals regardless. But our side-with-a-heart thinks it's pretty cool. And the heart wins.
So proud of our @Seahawks What a great game. Cannot wait for next season. Love you with all our hearts. #12s #Psalm126:3 #CheckItOut

coming there too! And lastly, I don't think anyone can ever doubt the mental toughness of Tom Brady. Tough couple weeks, but he showed why

Gut-wrenching loss aside, Pratt had a swell Super Bowl moment of his own: a teaser for Jurassic World aired during the telecast. And it included some sneak peeks at some of the new dinosaurs. Dinosaurs that probably would have called a running play from the one-yard line in the deciding moments.
