Serial may be long over, but the murder case against Adnan Syed continues. One of the key witnesses, Asia McClain, is now saying she never took back her 1999 affidavit in which she said Syed was with her at the library during the time his ex, Hae Min Lee, was murdered.
In the podcast, it was learned that McClain had told case prosecutor Kevin Urick that she had given Syed an alibi after being pressured by his family. But now she tells the Blaze she wasn’t pressured at all and that she never renounced her affidavit.

Urick, meanwhile, refuted her claims and told the Blaze her comments are “absolutely false.”
