A Pennsylvania woman has been charged for allegedly having sex with a teenage boy—in public.
According to Philly.com, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office said Iris Gibney, 42, was caught while "engaged in sexual activity" with a 17-year-old soccer player on Nov. 15 in Upper Pottsgrove's Hollenbach Park. Police reportedly learned that Gibney and the unidentified teenager met at a Pottsgrove High School event. NBC Philadelphia says it was a football game:
The 17-year-old Pottsgrove High School student said he met Gibney at a high school football game earlier this year, police said. She had been volunteering as a "cheer mom" for the cheerleading team that her daughter is a part of.
Prosecutors also told Philly.com that the two used social media (Twitter, specifically) to communicate, a prelude to her sending him nude photos.
Gibney faces charges for trespassing in a motor vehicle, corruption of a minor, and disseminating obscene materials to a minor.
