Workers Trapped as Scaffolding Collapses at One World Trade Center (Updates)

BREAKING: FDNY rushes World Trade Center as 50th floor window washing scaffold with people on it partially collapses.

A scaffolding unit has partially collapsed approximately 50 floors up at One World Trade Center, and the New York City Fire Department has begun a “high angle rescue” of the person (or persons) dangling precariously above the city streets:

CBS New York is reporting that there are as many as three window washers also up on the unit…

UPDATE: The FDNY is now on their way to rescue the trapped workers:

UPDATE 2: A rescue team cut the glass of 1 WTC to get the workers off the scaffolding:

After cutting the glass of the building, the FDNY was able to rescue both window washers from the dangling scaffold. So, that was crazy, but thankfully everyone's coming out of this safe. Watch video of the rescue below:
