Warner Bros. Announces “Lego” Sequels, “Harry Potter” Spinoffs, and DC Comics Movies

Warner Bros. just announced the release dates for the new "Justice League," "Lego," and "Harry Potter" movies.

In a huge, sweeping announcement, Warner Bros. announced this afternoon a massive slate of 10 upcoming movies based on their hit franchises.

The Lego, Harry Potter, and Justice League franchises will all be getting multiple new releases over the next six years, a move that makes since given that the combined box office of these franchises is already somewhere around $483 trillion (approximately).

Here’s the schedule, with the years each film will be released:


  • Lego’s Ninjago (2016)

  • Suicide Squad (2016)

  • Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016) (J.K. Rowling’s screenwriting debut)

  • Wonder Woman, starring Gal Gadot (2017)

  • The Lego Batman Movie (2017)

  • Justice League Part One, directed by Zack Snyder. Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and Amy Adams to reprise their roles (2017)

  • Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2 (2018)

  • The Flash, starring Ezra Miller (2018)

  • Aquaman, starring Jason Momoa (2018)

  • The Lego Movie 2 (2018)

  • Shazam, with Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam (2019)

  • Justice League Part Two, directed by Zack Snyder (2019)

  • Cyborg, starring Ray Fisher (2020)

  • Green Lantern (2020)

  • Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 3 (2020)
