A single tweet could potentially mean months of delays in deciding if officer Darren Wilson will be charged with a crime for the shooting of unarmed teen Michael Brown in August.

The Washington Post reports that St. Louis County prosecutors are investigating the tweet, which seems to suggest a possible leak of information from within the grand jury. Since those proceedings are confidential, if a juror spoke to someone outside the courtroom about the case it could force prosecutors to dismiss the entire jury and start over.

The current jury has been reviewing evidence in the case since Aug. 20 and is expected to wrap up by mid November.

The since-deleted tweet in question (seen below in a screenshot posted by a different Twitter user) is from a user who claims to have a friend on the jury who says there isn't enough evidence to charge Wilson.

Obviously, not one thing about this case is going to be simple.
