Once again Ferguson, Mo. is in the news for law enforcement discharging weapons. This afternoon ATF agents shot at a car with two men inside while trying to arrest one of them. No one was hit, but one of the men suffered injuries from flying glass.
Right now we don't know why exactly the agents needed to fire their guns. The man who was eventually arrested had been charged with illegally purchasing ammunition, although it's not clear if he shot at the ATF. Witnesses said plainclothes officers fired several shots at the car.
Nothing screams foul right now, but the shooting is sure to draw increased scrutiny because of where it occurred. We'll be keeping our eyes out for more information.
