This was the time period when computer scientist Tim Berners-Lee proposed the idea of an information management system, which later developed into what we know today as the World Wide Web—an online portal that’s revolutionized the way society gathers data and operates on a daily basis. Play, share, talk, or work, the Net has not only enriched our social lives, but also made us more productive. And we’re completely grateful.
