We can’t make this stuff up.

It all went down at the #FloodWallStreet protest for climate change today, which followed yesterday’s unexpectedly huge, and star-studded, People’s Climate March in NYC.

Today’s protest, meant to hold Wall Street accountable for its role in “financing climate change”, consisted of a sit-in and march that led to several arrests, including the furry felon.

According to Twitter, protesters booed police and began chanting “Don’t arrest the polar bear!” during the arrest.

The polar bear was later revealed to be Peter Gavin, co-founder of the Center for Biological Diversity, an organization which describes itself as working “through science, law, and creative media to secure a future for all species, great or small, hovering on the brink of extinction.”

CNN and Business Insider reportedly interviewed Frostpaw, so you haven't seen the last of the polar bear.
