If his Twitter rebuttal wasn’t definitive enough, Idris Elba put an end to all discussion of the infamous “bulge” last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Insisting that it really was just a microphone, Elba simultaneously crushed the hopes of those who wanted the wire to be real and helped those men rapidly developing inferiority complexes feel much better. Kimmel did ask the right question, though: why put a microphone there at all? What kind of movie was he filming that would require such a weird contraption?
