Shapeshifting, like time travel, is one of the oldest comic book tropes in existence. And like time travel, shapeshifting can often be used as a mode of divine intervention to right a capsizing story arc. Luckily, Green Lantern Corps #33 uses shapeshifting as an elegant plot device as opposed to relying on the mechanic unnecessarily.

After the events of last issues's battle, the final chapter of the Uprising arc concludes with Stewart racing to save the woman he loves after the battle with the shapeshifting Durlans. Series writer Van Jensen, and artist Bernard Chang, keep up the heat with issue #33 dropping this Wednesday.
