New "Transformers: Age of Extinction" TV Spot Shows off Some Dinobot Mayhem

In this new “Transformers: Age of Extinction” TV spot, we get a closer look at the Dinobots.

It’s hard to imagine, but it looks like Michael Bay has topped himself with Transformers: Age of Extinction. So far in the trailers we have seen massive destruction and incredible special effects that make the first three movies look like General Hospital. Even better, there is also a cigar-chomping Autobot with a beard that should easily be the star of his own spin-off.

Now in the latest TV spot for the movie, the action is dialed up even further as we get a closer look at Grimlock, the robotic T-Rex that is the leader of the Dinobots. The Transformers movies aren’t known for their subtlety, and that shot of Optimus Prime riding around on a fire-breathing robotic dinosaur should really drive that point home.

Transformers: Age of Extinction hits theaters on June 27.
