A man killed his ex-wife and her new boyfriend at the woman's high school reunion, authorities say.

According to the Peoria Journal Star, 40-year-old Jason A. Moore entered The Fifth Quarter sports bar in East Peoria, Ill. around 8 p.m. on Saturday and shot Lori A. Moore, 33, and Lance E. Griffel, 36, in the head. The Raw Story adds that Moore was attending her 15-year high school reunion, and the murders took place as over 100 attendees looked on. Both Moore and Griffel were pronounced dead less than two hours later at OSF St. Francis Hospital.

The Journal Star adds that Moore was gunned down by an off-duty FBI agent. "After just a brief moment inside the bar, he pulled out a weapon and shot a female and a male," East Peoria Police Chief Dick Ganschow told the publication, adding that Moore was "subsequently shot." The agent reportedly asked not to be identified.

Lori A. Moore filed for divorce in March 2013, and the divorce was finalized two months later. The Illinois State Police will likely handle the investigation, as it involved a law enforcement official.
