You're missing out on the knowledge that could easily be gleaned by those who've had life experiences different from your own? Great. First of all, no one actually doesn't care what people think; it's just how we're wired. Maybe that dude at the 7-11 buying Doritos and a Slushee wearing sweatpants sporting an 80s style mullet doesn't care what people think, but the rest of us actually do.
