Heads up, everyone who likes to fondly refer to Scar.Jo as "Scar.Jo": In a recently cover interview with Glamour, Scarlett Johansson revealed that she despises the nickname, and thinks it's "lazy and flippant." Damn. Tell us how you really feel, Scarlett:
None
While I personally think Scar.Jo sounds like a fond nickname, similar to JLaw or J.Lo or something, it's fair enough that she doesn't like it—it is, after all, her name. Also, she makes a great point about actresses being asked questions about their physical appearance more than men are, because it's true: Was Christian Bale asked how he "got into shape" to portray Batman? No. Was Anne Hathaway asked how she "got into shape" to portray Catwoman in a tight, leather bodysuit costume? At pretty much every press junket from here to Europe. Johansson, for her role as the Black Widow, was not exempt from this either:
So, y'know...she has a point.
