California Police Arrest Man Who Whipped Out Samurai Sword at Retirement Home

Getting arrested for scaring the residents of a retirement community is not one of the samurai's ways. 

According to ABC Los Angeles, a man who may have been trying to steal tools from a construction site near Leisure World in Seal Beach, Calif. threatened a resident with a samurai sword on Thursday evening. Donald Underdale, who was walking his dog at the time, detailed the encounter:

The aggressor, a suspected transient named Jason Chad Johnson, was arrested and charged with residential burglary and brandishing a deadly weapon later that evening.
