It’s been more than a decade since Batman Beyond went off the air, but in the years since the show’s cancellation, its legacy has only grown. In recent months, DC has even integrated the character into its mainstream comic book universe, which is something many fans never thought would happen.
Now, to celebrate the Dark Knight’s 75th anniversary, comic writer/artist Darwyn Cooke (New Frontier, Parker) has put together an animated short focusing on Batman Beyond. Reuniting the voices of Will Friedle (Boy Meets World) and Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series), as Terry McGinnis and Bruce Wayne respectively, this short puts both Batmen up against robotic duplicates from the character’s history.
Comic fans should keep their eyes open for robotic duplicates that look suspiciously like Adam West, Michael Keaton, and other iconic versions of the Caped Crusader.
