Every so often, a trailer for a movie floors you, and leaves you at a loss for words. American Blogger goes right into that category—but not for any of the reasons that a real, esteemed film should.

For starters: When first watching the trailer for the documentary film from director Chris Wiegand, you'll begin to notice something a little, well, strange: Every blogger featured in this project is a woman—a good looking woman. Then you start to feel dumb because you've been duped by the title "American Blogger," which at least hints at an accurate and diverse portrayal of the average American blogger, but gives us an overwhelmingly narrow look instead.

Then you start to hear the voice over, which proudly advertises the documentary as "beautifully filmed and artistically crafted," and pledges "stunning cinematography." It claims to "remind you of the value of your voice and the power of sharing your story." Sounds great, until you realize that these quotes don't come attributed to anybody, meaning they are presumably just from the filmmaker. How...honest?

Seriously, is this thing supposed to be real?

Watch the trailer for the documentary that will apparently leave you "feeling inspired" above.
