VH1 has announced that 'Single Ladies' will not return for a fourth season.
"We've been proud to deliver three seasons of the drama, romance and style that engaged viewers in each episode of Single Ladies," VH1 said in a statement. "Although we've decided not to move forward with another season, we hope to work again with the talented cast, creatives and producers as well as our partners at Flavor Unit Entertainment in the near future. We also thank the show's fans for their support since the premiere in 2011."
'Single Ladies' was VH1's first hour long scripted series. The show, from Queen Latifah's Flavor Unit Entertainment, focused on the lives of three best friends with different philosophies on love, sex and relationships. Season one starred Charity Shea, Stacey Dash and LisaRaye McCoy. Denise Vasi took over Dash's leading role at the start of the season two.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network decided to cancel the show two days after they picked up Hindsight, their third original scripted drama.
In its third season, 'Single Ladies' averaged 2.2 million viewers.
