The 86th Academy Awards is scheduled to air tomorrow night but will the torrential rain storms in Los Angeles cause The Oscars to get cancelled? The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences[AMPAS] have taken all measures to ensure that the show will go on.

“We’ve been monitoring weather patterns for weeks,” AMPAS communications chief Teni Melidonian told Deadline. “We have this covered literally and figuratively.”

The Academy went straight to work by covering the entire red carpet at Dolby Theatre with a huge overhead tent to keep all guests from getting wet. Hundreds of umbrellas will be distributed once limos arrive and Melidonian promises that despite the rain, "nothing will be different for the red carpet show than any other year."

Tune in on March 2nd at 7 p.m. EST with "Oscars Red Carpet Live! on ABC. The ceremony will begin at 8:30 p.m. EST.
