Two Brooklyn men say the were arrested for refusing to hand over their White Castle burgers.

According to the New York Daily News, Kenneth Glover and Danny Maisonet were accosted by NYPD officers on Halloween 2012 after they saw them collaring a group of men who allegedly stole from a supermarket.

Though the Daily News notes that it's unclear whether the officers were joking or not, Glover and Maisonet say they were beaten with flashlights, handcuffed and charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing government administration when they declined to give up their sliders.

However, Officer Angelo Pizzarro's complaint stated that Glover and Maisonet were standing in his way, forcing him to walk around them as they struggled to arrest the looting suspects. Though the charges were dismissed, Glover and Maisonet are still suing the NYPD.
