Xbox One owners should expect news on the "Games With Gold" program soon, according to Microsoft Studios executive Phil Spencer.

When asked on Twitter about the program's progress, he said that "[the] Answer to this will be coming fairly soon."

When is soon? It won't be this week, he tweeted, as there was too much going on. Perhaps after-the-fact coverage of a certain football game.

The Games With Gold program is already available on the Xbox 360, where Xbox LIve Gold Members get two free games per month to keep whether or not they continue their subscription. Previous titles have included Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, Sleeping Dogs, Gears of War and Assassin's Creed II. This month's games are Dead Island and Toy Soldiers: Cold War.
