Get excited: Only a few months after it was picked up by distributor A24at the Toronto Film Festival, Under the Skin—that is, the film in which Scarlett Johansson portrays a hot, man-eating alien—finally has a release date that we can mark on our calendars. Even better: The release date chosen is kind of perfect. According to Vulture, the film has been selected to hit theaters on April 4, which coincidentally is the same day that Captain America: The Winter Soldier, also starring Johansson, is set to hit theaters nationwide. So, if you're looking to have a Scarlett Johansson movie night starting out with her playing the Black Widow and kicking ass before watching her tear men apart and consume their flesh with her alien buddies after, it's your lucky day!

Under the Skin, as it's more of an indie film, will only receive limited release on that day, but there's always the possibility wide release could follow.

If you're not familiar with the film, you can check out a trailer below. In a nutshell, Johansson portrays an alien posing as a seductive Scottish woman, who spends all of her time flirting with and charming men before drugging them, and taking them back to her fellow aliens so they can mutilate and fatten up the victims before eating them. The film is based on the 2000 book by Michel Faber.
