Earlier today, director Bryan Singer took to Instagram to show off a very brief look at some new footage from X-Men: Days of Future Past. More importantly, the full message also promises something even bigger on January 27. This could mean that next week we’ll get a new trailer or some fresh images from the movie. But with the Super Bowl right around the corner, don't be surprised if we also get an official announcement of a gametime TV spot. This aggressive marketing would make sense for Fox, especially after making Days of Future Past the studio's most expensive movie ever, right behind Avatar.
Obviously the footage doesn't really show us much. There are a few glimpses at Wolverine under water, Magneto wearing his helmet, Jennifer Lawrence wearing a big floppy hat, and a few other tidbits. But, really, this post just exists to get us excited for whatever is coming on Monday. Check out the footage below:
