Cloud Atlas might not have received the commercial success or critical acclaim that the Wachowskis and Warner Brothers were hoping for, but both sides are betting that the duo’s next film, Jupiter Ascending, fares much better. And to drum up some positive vibes for the project, the studio has released the debut trailer, featuring a healthy dose of Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis.

Like Cloud Atlas, the plot here seems fairly ambiguous, but it’s easy to see that Jupiter Ascending will be a much more accessible film aimed at a broader audience. Thankfully, it doesn’t look like the duo sacrificed their integrity to achieve this, because this film still promises to be a welcome sight for sci-fi fans who are tired of having their intelligence insulted by Hollywood. For more information on Jupiter Ascending, check out the official synopsis below:

Jupiter Jones (Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people’s houses and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along—her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos.
