If you're at work or in any public place, you probably shouldn't watch this right now. There are two reasons for this: One, there is sex—a lot of very graphic (CGI-created!) sex. Two, Shia LaBeouf is involved in a good portion of that sex, and I don't know your feelings on seeing Shia LaBeouf having sex. Maybe you're into it, maybe you're not. But you should be aware of what you're getting into before you press play, here.
In this fifth clip from Lars von Trier's upcoming Nymphomaniac (here are the first, second, third, and fourth clips), we see the use of split screen employed to showcase different sexual encounters Joe (Stacy Martin) has with LaBeouf and another man (who is possible Nicolas Bro? It's not clear), as well as different clips of suggestive and sexual imagery. In other words, art.
The clip was first uploaded to YouTube, but promptly taken down, so that should give you an idea of how graphic it is—we had to head to Vimeo for this one. But if you dare, you can check it out above. Nymphomaniac doesn't yet have a release date in the US, but if you're in Denmark, it'll be released on Dec. 25, Christmas day. They do things a little differently in Europe.
